Free Clown Baby Toy Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn (1/2 oz. light pink, 1/2 oz. white, small amount dark pink)
Size H crochet hook
Size: 4" tall
Notes: Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Rnd 1: With light pink, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join w sl st in 1st sc (6 sc).
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (6 sc).
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc, * sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, join as before (9 sc).
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (9 sc).
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in each of 1st 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, * sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, join as before (12 sc).
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (12 sc).
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in each of 1st 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, * sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, join as before (16 sc).
Rnd 8: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before, fasten off (16 sc).
Rnd 9: Join white w sl st in 1st st of Rnd 8, ch 1, sc in each of 1st 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, * sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, sc in last sc, join as before (21 sc).
Rnd 10: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (21 sc).
Rnd 11: Ch 1, sc in each of 1st 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, *sc in each of next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, join as before (28 sc).
Rnd 12: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (28 sc).
Rnd 13: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (28 sc).
Rnd 14: Ch 1, sc in each of 1st 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc, * sc in each of next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc, rep from * around, join as before (21 sc).
Rnd 15: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (21 sc).
Rnd 16: Ch 1, sc in each of 1st 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc, * sc in each of next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc, rep from * around, sc in last sc, join as before (16 sc).
Embroider facial features with dark pink yarn. Begin stuffing toy at this point. Keep stuffing toy as you go.
Rnd 17: Ch 1, * dec over next 2 sc, rep from * around, join as before (8 sc).
Rnd 18: Ch 1, * dec over next 2 sc, rep from * around, join as before (4 sc). Fasten off, leaving 18" length of yarn for sewing. Weave length of yarn through sts of Rnd 18, pull to close, knot to secure.
