Free Chick in the Egg Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amount white worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
Yellow plastic Easter egg
2 small google eyes
Scrap of orange felt

Egg Shell:
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 15 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of 1st dc (16 dc).

Rnds 2-3: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off after Rnd 3 (16 dc).

Weave in ends.

Chick:
Glue eyes to plastic Easter egg as shown.

Cut a small diamond from orange felt and glue beak to center of plastic egg as shown.

Let chick dry. Place chick in shell.

Enjoy!
