Free Bitty Bunny Basket Crochet Pattern

Materials:
1/2 oz. white worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
2 medium google eyes
1 small pink bead for nose
1 medium white pompom for tail
Size: 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" in diameter
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in 1st dc (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnd 3: (Work this round in back loops only), ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnds 4-5: Working in both loops again, ch 3, dc in each dc around, fasten off after Rnd 5 (24 dc).
1st ear
Row 1: Skip 12 dc to left of joining st in Rnd 5, join yarn w sl st in next dc, *ch 3, dc in next 2 dc (3 dc).
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, dc in next 2 dc (3 dc).
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, work 1st half of 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook to form one cluster st, fasten off *.
2nd ear
Turn work (work from inside of basket facing out), join yarn w sl st in next dc to left of 1st ear and rep from * to * as for 1st ear.
Weave in ends.
Glue eyes, nose and tail to basket as shown.
Let dry.
