What do you see
when you look at a screen
filled with your words?
Really?
Do you see truth
or a distorted image,
like those circus mirrors
reflecting a warped version of the truth?
Do you see humour?
Do you see hate?
Do you see hurt?
What do you think others see
as they stare at screens
filled with your words?
Do you think theyre crying?
Do you think theyre laughing?
Do you think theyre yelling?
Do you think theyre caring?
Would it bother you to know,
as they look upon their screens,
that theyre not seeing the same screen you do
and that their lives do not revolve around
your distorted version
of words on a
computer screen.
