Formatting text

Across the top of the Content box on the post creation page you will see 2 drop down menus and a number of buttons:
The three buttons on the far right we will talk about in the next post. The rest are to do with formatting text. You probably recognise them from applications such as Microsoft Word and they influence text properties like font size, colour, boldness etc.
To use one of these buttons highlight the text you would like to be formatted and then click on the appropriate button. You can use all these elements to good effect in your posts to make your text a little more interesting.
