Have you ever taken a test or exam, and been asked to shade a bubble like this one? Which one did you pick, well if you’re like me you might have chosen other, but what does that really mean? I guessed it meant mixed race one that was not listed, but let’s try and explore the definition of that word, other. What kind of person would call another human other; I mean honestly that is an insult. Saying that someone doesn’t belong to any race or group, is cruel, to make a person feel alone, why would you do that? But then you might realize that to some dimension were all others, how many people do you know that are of pure blood? They may call themselves by the way they were raised, or the race that they are most, or look most like. So next time you fill out a government form, think hard about which bubble to shade.
