Flowers for each child!!!

Hubby sent me a vase for mothers day. it contained 2 red roses for my two natural children, one pink for my adopted child, and one peach for the child i became pregnant with but didn't have, when i was 20. my children and i started putting pressed flowers, small rocks, leaves and such from trips when we first met Charlie and started traveling. one of my favorites was a journal i pressed things in from Sedona Arizona on my first trip there. shortly after i did so, my dogs got ahold of it and wripped the pages up. i taped them back together and still have them. i have journals for each of my children. even the child i named Lindsey, that was never born. here are there journals.

i've been dreaming about a little girl every single night. i've been thinking she is a new child waiting to come into my life. but the more i dream of her, the more i'm thinking it's Lindsey. she's between the age of five and seven. i had not exactly blocked her out of my life all those years, but it was too hurtful to think about her, so i kept busy. raising the children i did have. taking in foster children and raising others. now she is in my thoughts every single day and night. i think maybe i'm going and astral traveling to play with her. if i new child comes, i think it could still be her, but if it's not, i know i'm seeing her nightly. at first i couldn't remimber her face, but now i do. she has long dark blondish brown hair, blue eyes and is very slim. i saw a gril yesterday at the beach that i had to look at many times. she looked like Lindsey.

i like how my journals turned out. i have over a hundred filled with pics, flowers, clovers, leaves and such from old homes we lived in, trips we've been on. all ready for my kids one day.

Wow Tammy those are amazingly beautiful and such a thoughtful thing for your children and generations of grandchildren that will follow. Where do you find the time to do all these wonderful things?

Ash, Thanks!! Creativity is a HUGE part of mylife and life wouldn't be living without it, for me. i create almost every single day. wether it's with a camara, paint, colored pencils, flowers, or whatever.it's just a HUGE part of mylife. sitting still and doing nothing, just isn't something i can do easily. even while watching tv, i'm usualy doing something. <smiles>
i'm going to set up a creativity blog! all because of you asking and now i'm REALY excited about it. so, "Thanks!!!" Tammy

Thank you for doing it Tammy... I just loved what you did with those shells in your presents for Charlie. Now these journals. I think store bought presents are so tacky sometimes... stuff just churned out of a machine all looking the same.... bleh! this is way more thoughtful and beautiful.

Crafting creative memories... you are definitely blessed with your abilities. I have so much respect for the things you make, and the value of those things for your kids later on in life? Priceless!

I love what Charlie did for you for mothers day, but I also love the way you received his gift, turning it into a keepsake with your creative magic(k).

"Thanks Ash and Wendi!!!!" i was sooo touched by the roses. started crying as soon as i got them. Funny, Krystina didn't read the card at first and thought the Windym sent roses and chocolate to every room. <soft smile> she almost cried when she saw the card.
i LOVE the way the journals turned out. i plan on dragging out all my journals very soon, adding new stuff. and, just because i want to see them. look through them. <soft smile>
