Florida Day One: Universal Studios

Why I love Continental airlines
Looking out at a beautiful sky flying at 200 plus feet while enjoying a delicious breakfast of a carrot cake raisin muffin and orange juice. It can't get much better than that on a flight.
I was up at 3:30am. After get myself ready I got all my last minute things packed for my second annual Birthday/Spring Break vacation. I had no problem finding my way to Park 'N' Fly and was there early enough to get a parking space in the first row tenth parking space from the exit to make the trip park easier.
I had some full sized hair products in my suitcase, but had no problem getting through the check points. I found the gate within 10 minutes of boarding so I had time to "powder my nose" before getting on the plane. The flight was a little over two hours. I just sat back, read a Glamour magazine and watched the clouds go by.
Arriving in Orlando
I caught a Lynx bus to my hotel on international drive. I chose the Lynx because it was the least expenses way to travel. It only cost $1.50. The driver was also very helpful by telling me the exact stop that was closest to The Amerisuits hotel where I was staying. It probably didn't take me 2 minutes to walk to the hotel from the bus stop.
I checked in, went to my room, dropped off my suitcase, and headed to Universal Studios. I started at the tourist center which was right in front of my hotel. I had to see where to pick up the IRide Trolly. I bought a three day trolly pass for $5 online. It cost $1 each way so I ended up saving a few dollars.
There was a stop right behind my hotel. Not knowing which way I needed to go on the bus I asked the driver. He exchanged my online paper for a pass then told me where to catch the trolly to Universal. It was just the other side of the street. Caught the trolly and that driver was from Akron, Ohio and chatted with me a bit. He said I looked familiar and had hung out in Kent a few years back...I didn't recognize him.
Universal Studios
It was a little walk up hill to get to Citywalk that led to Universal Studios and Islands of adventure, but that just seemed like part of the adventure. I was in Universal Studios by 2pm.
I had plenty of time to Blast some Aliens with the MIB, almost get eaten by Jaws get stuck in a twister not even as strong as ones I've been through in Ohio, get stuck in an earthquake and of course go Back to the future. I got a refillable Studios Souvenir sports bottle on the way out and got my picture taken in front of the Universal sign.
The walk seemed a bit longer on the way back. But I walked around City walk for a bit too. I was getting pretty exhausted and hungry by the time I got to the trolly stop.
Amerisuits
I finally took a look around the room when i got back. I paid $35 a night on priceline.com and had a huge room.
When you walked it on the right was a kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee maker, and sink with a large mirror. There was also a work desk on the same side across from the kitchen area. On the left was a sectional couch. On the left in the next room there was a large plasma TV and two queen sized beds. On the right was the closet with extra towels, iron and ironing board. There was also a sink and good sized counter for a suitcase. The rest room was near the sink. The restroom was small, but enough.
I changed into something a bit warmer and went to see at which of the many restaurants surrounding the hotel I would have dinner. I chose friendly's. After my dinner I brought a fudge cake sunday back to have at the hotel while relaxing. I watched a little TV and touched base with mom. My Enzo puppy was missing me she said. He was moping...
