Flashes of memories - MUGABE MUST GO!!! ZIMBABWEANS NEED THEIR HOME BACK

There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness - Carl Jung To be at one with God is to be at peace ... peace is to be found only within, and unless one finds it there he will never find it at all. Peace lies not in the external world. It lies within one's own soul. - Ralph Waldo Trine

Flashes of memories - July 2007

Life is like a cup of hot chocolate.

This week the Kitty Hawk made her departure from our shores and it seemed as the whole coast came to a stand still and lined the shores, despite the cool and blustery conditions. I found myself perched on the edge of the land, waves crashing over the rocks below and waiting to see something emerge from the ghostly mist that was gathered over the water on the horizon.

My thoughts drifted to and fro, tumultuous as the sea itself

Theatrical Disasters

Tomorrow night we are heading into the bright lights and glamorous world of the theatre to watch 'Miss Saigon'. As a lover of the theatre you can imagine my excitement! Don the dusty smart clothes that hang neglected in the far, dark depths of the wardrobe, paint the face to enhance Mother Nature's perfection (~chuckle~), spray the air with glittering drops of perfume and step into the scented clouds... and prepare the senses for a treat of mass proportions! Which got me to thinking of some of my previous theatrical experiences

To chop or not to chop... that is the question!

So I have this dilemma. I really need a haircut and I am thinking of maybe doing something completely different - new style, new colour, new everything. At the moment it is too long, looks worse than a birds nest when I wake up in the morning and is a nightmare to brush. I probably have about 5 heads worth of hair so styling it everyday at its current length and volume is not an option that I am willing to consider
