"Finding Nemo Review:"
Finding Nemo is a 2003 movie. It is "3-D" animated by Pixar. The people I remember in it are Ellen Degeneres, John Ratzenberger, and Brad Garrett. It is a Disney movie, but movies made by Pixar seem to have a more detailed story line in them.
Or at least more detail. Marlin and Coral go to a promising looking area called The Drop Off to live. Before they know it, everybody has disappeared. A Barracuda is the only thing left. Coral runs towards the hundreds of eggs and Marlin goes to defend everybody but gets knocked unconscious. When he wakes up, the only person left is one egg. The egg has a very large scratch on it. Because of this, one of fins is smaller than the other one. He is named Nemo since Marlin said to Coral that he would name one of them Nemo and the rest of them would be named after their parents. Marlin is very overprotective and Nemo takes a risk by swimming outside of the reef.
"Oh My Gawsssh!!! Nemo'sh Schwimming Out To Sheeee!!"
Nemo gets captured, and he is in an aquarium and he is going to be Darla's pet, who accidentally tortures them. Marlin tries to find Nemo. That's about it for the story.
Marlin runs towards the boat to get Nemo, and loses the boat, and finds Dory.
Dory is an excellent character in many ways. Her personality helps Marlin not worry about Nemo as much, and to trust other people's ideas even if they don't seem like good ideas. She also has a hilarious personality and short term memory loss. One example is "Are you...are you my conscience?" Dory can also read. She is very useful to helping Marlin find Nemo, so he must learn to get along with her wackiness. The rest of the movie adds plenty of humor also and is a very creative way to look at the world of animals. Not all of the animals speak the same language, such as whales, sea gulls, and dangerous fish. I really like this movie, especially because I do not like it when there are animals that look like humans...they stand upright like humans, and wear human clothes. And also with this, such as Arthur characters Binky & Rattles and Pal, and early Disney characters Goofy and Pluto, you have animals that act like humans, and animals that act like pets. This is another reason why I like Finding Nemo. Of course, I am perfectly okay with SpongeBob SquarePants.
Just about every character is funny. From some of the parents, to the school of fish, and the sharks, and the aquarium. There are a few serious things in the film such as the beginning and also when a bunch of fish have to free themselves from the net.
I have Finding Nemo on DVD. It is a 2 disc version. I still think that DVDs are silly, but I still have Finding Nemo and several others.
