Fed Up With Aviation

In 2008 I understood where our world of transportation was heading. Obama was in favor of trains and buses over planes. McCain was in favor of planes over trains and the rest.
If McCain were President, this would make more sense than it does! Then there is our real President Obama. He was hoping for trains. Even Mr. Obama could not foresee bus travel making a big comeback!
Why would this surprise anyone? People are really getting fed up with the 'extra' charges that airlines impose on the general public. People still want to get away from their daily routine lives but they don't want to spend an arm and leg to do so!
