Fear Mongering Beyond Airports

This is an opinionated comment. The opinions are my own and by no means reflect those of 99% of the people worldwide. It is written to generate the thought process for present and future reference.
Before the election, I read articles about Obama's and McCain's opinions on the transportation industry as a whole. John McCain from Arizona tended to favor airline travel because that is a main mode of transportation in his State. Barack Obama from Illinois was more of a public transportation kind of individual which was about trains and buses and subways! This was a 'read between the lines' article because the end will justify the means.
It was obvious that more funding would go to the airline industry or public transportation depending who won. President Obama won and I'm only stating the obvious when I say that public transportation would be the one to have an increase in funding.
So now our fear must go from the airlines to our public transportation to guarantee the TSA has job security. Already there is talk to expect to see the TSA at rail and bus stations. If this was happening during the Bush administration , we would all be outraged at this out-of-control government without accountability.
Years ago the TSA was told that they couldn't profile the 'obvious' terrorists, so to continue to operate they must look for a sacrificial lamb. I'm glad that they are shifting to other aspects besides airports and aircraft, because we all need to continue to live in fear. Fear generates jobs, even the useless ones.
Now others can be put to the shame of security scrutiny, as the TSA continue to keep us safe from a non-existent threat! We blamed Bush for generating fear, now let's see if the fear is neutralized. Eventually the TSA will guarantee that nobody travels anywhere by any means.
Think about it!
