Fact: Russia

Russia is the world's largest country, with an area of 6,591,100 square miles. It is 1.8 times the size of the United States and spans 11 time zones. However, the population density in Russia is one of the world's lowest.

It currently has about 22 people per square mile while China has about 353 people per square mile. The longest railway in the world is located in Russia: the Trans-Siberian Railroad or Trans-Siberian Main Railroad, built 1891-1916, is 5,778 miles long and spans eight time zones.
