Fact: Magic 8-Ball
January 23rd 2007 06:00
The Magic 8-Ball, invented in 1946 by Abe Bookman of the Alabe Toy Company, is a novelty version of the crystal ball. It is a hard black plastic sphere, the size of a small grapefruit, which reveals answers to life's most perplexing issues when it is turned upside-down. The answers are on a white plastic die made in the shape of an icosahedron and floating in a blue liquid. Of the twenty possible answers, ten are positive, five negative, and five neutral. The name of the novelty comes from its resemblance to the ball used in pool and billiards.

This is quite popular in America and sometimes, those who has too much things to do (as they just suck in whatever work they have) will have a very sarcastic way saying, "nothing else to do fun"
But usually it gives positive answers, one that encourages the reader who prompt the question. But the freaky part is, sometimes the answers actually relates to the question you are asking. Propably the human brain just make sure that the answer is interpreted and related to the question. Or simply, the inventor does really know what are the common questions people would ask about life issues.
Thank you so much for popping by with your valuable comment.
Have a blessed week ahead
