Hello (hello) Good Mornin' (Good Mornin')

I awoke this morning to the harsh sound of my alarm buzzing in my ear. Wiped the drool off my cheek. Stumbled out of bed into the bathroom. Suantered unenthusiastically into the kitchen. Dumped yesterday's coffee grounds into the garbage & started up a new pot. Tried to eat breakfast but realized my box of Frosted Mini Wheats only contained crumbs. Took a luke-warm shower because the neighbor below me decided to take a shower at the exact same time. Got ready for work. Before scraping the ice off of my car and driving in to my mundane office job, I made a pit stop at my computer, logged into Facebook, and "liked" the following page:

A quote a day keeps the blues away...

I've always been a huge fan of words. Whether it be poems, stories, quotes, lyrics, lines from a movie or television show, etc. There is something great about finding that perfect line that relates to what you're going through at that exact moment, and knowing someone else went through it or understands it. I have a daily habit of visiting Wikiquote.com for my daily dose of inspiration. The website features a "Quote of the Day", but also allows you to browse through an entire database of endless quotes from philosophers, movies, television, you name it. And yes, I'll admit I am one of those people who tend to post status updates containing a quote that I particularly like. You never know when it might help someone else as well!

I'm surprised to find that the Facebook page only has 533 "likes".

Hey, cheapskate...

Does anyone have celebrity connections out there? All I want to do is get a link to my next featured Facebook page sent to Zac Effron & Vanessa Hudgens, because it seems they are in dire need of it. You see, my sister is a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas. She works hard and depends on tips for her living. Needless to say she was a little disappointed after serving a couple of millionaires (Zac & Vanessa) only to get stiffed in the end. So like i said, if there is someone out there who could get this link to them somehow, that would be great...thanks.

Could it be too late?

After looking more closely at this page, I realized the creator's last post was in August. I hope we're not too late! This may be a ploy to get as many "likes" as they can...some people find that fun and worth their time. Is that a chance we want to take though? Look how cute the little guy is!

Hey hey it's a monkey

I don't know about you, but I am having a difficult time coming up with the perfect Christmas gift ideas for my family & friends. Well, up until I discovered my next featured Facebook fan page, that is. I cannot wait until my sister (who is flying all the way back to Michigan from Vegas) tears that wrapping paper off, opens up the box, only to see 2 beady little button eyes staring back at her. Every time she looks at her new sock monkey she will think of me...

On a more serious note (this won't happen often...), I'd like to draw your attention to a fan page that I think is worth your while. One Cup Project is an organization that sells bags of gourmet quality coffee & donates all proceeds to international aid. If you need a more selfish reason to like this page, I received 2 bags of free coffee just for commenting on their status update. Let me just say, the coffee was delicious. You might also be featured as their "fan of the month" and they'll talk all about you for a whole month. I don't know about you, but I love to be talked about.

The smell of love is in the air...

I knew my boyfriend was really in love the day he tenderly placed the comforter over my head, closing it around me and I suddenly smelled a potent aroma similar to that of broccoli & corned beef...mixed together. I tried to escape, but to no avail. I was being "dutch-oven'd" Some might say this is disgusting, but I know deep down it was a sign of affection. I mean, to be so comfortable around me that he can perform such acts...i'm hearing wedding bells. So needless to say, I will be "liking" our next featured Facebook fan page entitled, Giving your girlfriend/boyfriend a "Dutch Oven." Feel the love, folks.
