Life is so busy, I need 48 hours in a day.
I am a workaholic that is always busy, between work, family I find I have no time for me.
I am very interested in self help books and found this site whilst looking for something motivational to help me sort out the chaos of my life.
I have been reading the Miracle stories here, thinking that no miracles have occurred in my life. However now I realize that if a miracle did occur I would not even realize as life is too busy.
I have decided a change of lifestyle is necessary, less chaos and more time for me and my family.

While on holidays I left my camera on the lawn in a park in York, England. I was getting something from my bag that had the camera in it and went off without it.
I discovered my loss many hours later, so I returned to the lawn where I had left it, only to find it still there!

As Chiropractors, we often don’t realize the amount of courage it takes some people to even get to our office. We have all heard the things these people hear, such as “They will hurt you, it’s not safe, and it will cost a fortune” etc etc. These comments often come from people in trusted places in their lives – their partners, their parents, their friends or their doctors.
So how can we allay these fears quickly, and build rapport without dragging out the old stats of how many people really get injured seeing a Chiropractor?
It is often best to address all of these fears straight up. Get them out in the open and show people you are genuine.
Here is an example-
“Mrs. Jones, I want you to know that my goal today is to find out if Chiropractic can help you. What we will do is spend the time to actually find out what’s happening with your spine and your health. If I can help you, I’ll let you know. If I can’t, I will let you know that too, and I will do my best to find the right person for you. Does that sound ok with you?”
What we have done is tell them that we have their best interests at heart, we are in this with them, and we will do what’s right by them. Who wouldn’t want that?
Although raised in a traditional Anglican household, I lost my faith in a "higher power" in my early twenties after going to university. Entering the workforce after graduating, I wanted to "experience life" and got hooked into a period of heavy drinking and living it up! As I progressed into my late twenties, my drinking became heavier until, at some point, I crossed over into becoming totally dependent (physically and emotionally) on alcohol to get through life, work and each day. As the years passed by into my 30s my work, relationships, physical and mental health began to deteriorate markedly.
By my mid 30s my career was over. I had lost destroyed most of my relationships (both personal and professional), I lost my job, had to sell almost everything I owned to continue to live without a job and, of course, continue drinking. Eventually I lost almost everything I owned and was on the verge of homelessness and bankruptcy. My mental health & body were shattered. I attempted suicide on several occasions. Over the next

Last October while driving into Los Angeles I was stopped for speeding in Indio. I had my miracle card right on the dash so when the officer took my documents I went into "I could use a miracle now" !!! The officer came back and gave me a ticket without any consideration of dropping the speed a bit, but let me off on the fact that I had no documents for proof of insurance or registration. Ooops. Not really a notable "miracle" but off I went.

Have you ever played the punch bug game? The gave involves spotting a VW beetle car when you are out and about driving, and when you spot one, you punch the passenger gently in the arm and yell out "punch bug!".
When I introduced this game to my family, we had only noticed one or two VWs in a week. Within a week or two, we were spotting up to six in a day

Miracles are for Everyone
My miracle with NET (Neuro Emotional Technique - a branch of Chiropractic) was with myself being treated when preparing for my wedding.
Being influenced by all parties, mother, father and in-laws really wore me down to the point all the excitement in the process was lost
