It is my software of choice for Podcasting. I use it almost daily, to check whether there is anything new. I absolutely love it's yellow, lemon icon. It is very... well... Juicy .

Nile

March 3rd 2011 08:14
Almighty Nile! One of the greatest bands in the death metal scene.

Nile represents american extreme brutal death metal genre with precise guitar riffs, complex and intense drumming and well developed songs. Tracks are fast, all written in insane tempos.

nile, band, brutal death metal, metal

Karl Sanders writes majority if not all of the lyrics and is the mastermind behind Nile. Because of his interest in egyptology, most of Nile's lyrics are about Egypt, but also Lovercraft, art, history. George Kollias is one of the greatest, living drummers.

Pi by Darren Aronofsky

March 2nd 2011 17:57
American psychological thriller. Directed by Darren Aronofsky. One of the best movies of all times. Black and white, tense, scary, creepy, geeky. Tells the story of a mathematican trying to solve the equation controlling the stock market.

Darren Aronofsky is the director of Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler and The Fountain

Making history

March 2nd 2011 17:49
A lot is going on in the world right now. Bahrain, Egypt, North Korea, replacing authocracy or so called theocracy (which in reality is authocracy in it's purest form) with democracy. And now riots in Croatia.Honestly. I didn't know much about them because of my lack of interest in watching television or reading online news. But we are witnessing huge changes taking place. It is history that someday will be taught in schools. Whether it is good or bad.

Lord of the Rings

February 28th 2011 14:42
Directed by Peter Jackson, based on a book by Oxford University professor, J.R.R. Tolkien.

I am absolutelly love in it. Amazing, great camera work, great special effects made by a staff of amazing artists. Great acting - that guy playing Frodo is awesome. No doubt three parts of the series are listed as one of IMDB's greatest movies.

Cathi Bruns

I am posting it here cause her apperance and attitude reminds me so much of KT Tunstall. Great, simple song-writing and natural, unprocessed voice.

Cat in boot

February 28th 2011 11:39
That one is kinda creepy. So calm, so cute, so much emotions in kitten's eyes and that overwhelming silence. Ending is a little weird.

Mudvayne

February 28th 2011 09:30
Many people hate this term, but I will use it here - Mudvayne are playing Nu-Metal. Lots of good Nu-Metal. Sometimes there is more math than in usual nu-metal, more groove, sound is more machine-like. Songs happen to be very melodic, reminding of Cynic. Mudvayne created 8 albums in their career, the list closes their self-titled cd from 2009.
