Don't feel that way... VHS is awesome!
I still maintain a VCR as well as a DVD player, and find that there's heaps of stuff that still hasn't been released on DVD for one reason or another (too obscure, or fighting over distribution rights, mostly).
Plus, for some reason i'm in love with the tactile clunky nature of the VCR.
So, i say embrace the antiques (yes, i'm also one of those people who swears by vinyl)

when i even see skinny pretty androgynous boys buying protein powder, i want to leap across the counter at the vitamin store screaming NOOOO!

the distillers were awesome, but i can't have any respect for someone who actually shares a bed with someone from queens of the stone age.

and... also, i think you'll find brody is trying to emulate courtney love's early work, rather than the other way around.
