on OUT OF CONTEXT HILARITY Part I

March 26th 2007 15:44
hey, i like your blog!

you probably know about this already (i have a feeling i'm going to read back and feel like a dolt because there'll be some long post about it...) but just in case i'm wrong, i think you'd like this: http://www.ep.tc/intro.html

it's an incredible archive of old comics (among other things) - the AA comics and drug propaganda stuff are my favourites (check out Hooked! (1966) ) but horribly racist WW2 comics put out by the american government and atom-bomb hysteria make for great reading too)

enjoy!

i was thinking the same thing the other day, reading about the new myki thing - i'll miss the ticket-underside advertising

great thoughts on the dame edna exhibition - and i am so with you on the bumming-around-the-arts-center stuff.

on women have underarm hair

that ruskin, he sure was an interesting fellow.

enjoy your hairy pitts, i stopped shaving mine years ago and will never go back to shaving (stubble rash - no thank you!). and while it seems the predominant attitudes towards pitt-hair are negative ones, i've found that friends are generally very accepting of it, and some people even find it sexy!
