Entralac Scarf - first repeats done....
February 13th 2012 01:34
So, keeping to my New Year's resolution to try new knitting techniques I've so far this year finished a pair of socks (I'll definitely be doing more as they're so warm and comfy) had a go at double knitting (will have a go at something bigger at some point) I am now trying entralac.
For those of you who are thinking ''what the heck is that???' ' it's a method of knitting that looks as if it's weaved, even though it isn't and is more straightforward than it looks (so far)
I've only done the base triangles (only need to do this once), the 1st tier where you create 2 half trangles and 2 squares and the 2nd tier where you create a row of 3 squares...after this I just need to repeat tiers 1 and 2 over and over until my scarf s the right length or until I get bored and turn it into something else!!
Anyhow this is what I have so far......
I'll post more as I go....a link to the free pattern (as all the patterns I use) can be found by clicking on the link to my Ravelry page (user name - kazpaz)
