Enlightenment

This is just a little writing in my 'book of shadows', which is more a description of my path than anything. I call it a book of shadows because that is the first name I heard for such a book, and it fits, although my path is more shamonic than Wiccan. Actually, my path is more anything than Wiccan; I don't follow Wicca's golden rules, so it's not my path. At all. To be Wiccan you must follow the Rede and the Rule Of Three, and I don't follow either. Anyway, here's the piece:
To enter the realm of the awake, of the mystical, one must first become receptive of the mundane. One must begin to define one's xact path to enlightenment, as all are different. One must question the reality in which one lives; one must question the quo that one is surrounded by; but most of all, one must question oneself on all levels of faith and righteousness. One must redefine right and wrong. One must decide on formality and rituals. One must learn to revel in each joy one finds, for they last only as long as we revel in their beauty. One must decide on education and the acceptance of material wealth. One must decide how much training is enough.
All this one must do long before enlightenment can be reached-but enlightenment, in its purest form, lasts forever.
