LIFE LESSON FOR SELF-SEEKING LOST PEOPLE

Swift in stride we float the tides of every man
we meet with Life, through each other we see he is
is calm, but up with a war when assuming bad weather,
there’s time still left to treat and defeat the best of you
which is lost and found in so many crowds at sea,
somewhere while you’re searching for you,
you lose sight of those you love in despair
who are looking for you too
when it seems to be a one man journey as you seek to find
a name for this land and territory
losing sight and losing control of your true destiny,
love for all in order not to take a fall,
but Life gives us this lesson before we are able take his hand,
he says, follow me and I will show you what you seek
though it us up to you to take this offer
to follow
Life is not easy when you’re not sure what he is
When you get to know him you will see that he lives
just like you and me, he is filled with love and pain,
not one or the other
for he has walked this road before you could
as he walks it with you still this day,
Life waits for you to find him,
through one anothers encounter he wants you to see
his true face lies within the many faces of you and me

ACCEPT WHO YOU ARE

You just couldn't accept me for who I am
It made you turn away
And left you without a word to say
Disgusted by whatever you did not understand
You melted away the happiness in your hands
Making yourself feel less of a man
Out of touch with reality it seemed
you thought it was me who was walking in a dream
But the light did not shine just upon your face alone
Accept you thought it was yours to condone
So you made yourself as blind as can be
And left you without a truth to see
Feeding your everyday life with pain
for pushing aside the rainbow after the rain
Like opening the door to a mystery
you could not accept me for me
Perfection to your standards was the key
because that lie was always to cover
your true being
Accept the good and not the bad is said,
which is not too fair and free
who is to judge what is right in another mans affairs,
Can you accept who you are in all angles and degrees,
for life is too short to adhere (give way) to another mans dreams
whom like you lives behind his mortal fear

He tells you in a subtle way what's in store for you
He gives all he has to this noble cause
His heart is all that leads him from the very start
But he cannot see what others see about him
For if he could he would not fall weary and thin
He has an amazing strength in his love
How could he ever see what has always
been and will always be
Love is blind is often said
Hidden in those who truly keep it
He could not put his finger on it anywhere
accept when he was alone in despair
He wanted so bad to see it
He was amazing love, but how could
he ever see
For its form and shape was not in a mirror
but locked inside you and me

HER

Her lips do not move yet her voice is heard,
Her heart understands the unspoken word.
As she plants the seeds of hope for birth,
She unlocks the potential of ones full worth.

With eyes closed shut she still sees,
The world around her in all degrees.
From the depths of the unknown,
She brings forth answers to be shown.

Like a single light in the darkest room,
Her presence ignites a soothing tune.
Within her touch lay an inherent reprieve,
Love will awaken if she truly believes.
