Elvis and His Mother
January 26th 2012 10:37
Elvis never liked his mother. She was a threat to his freedom. He often wanted to leave her behind. But then, there was also his father. When his mother was there his father wasn't so... well he wasn't so off the planet. She brought a balance, even when things turned sour. She stood as some kind of irky symbol that allowed him to become more grounded when he wasn't being disgusted. He didn't want to love his mother, but when she was gone he didn't want to be apart either.
