1954:
Elvis did his first Memphis concert on this date. He performed at the Overton Park Shell. He sang two whole songs as his parents watched. He was so nervous that he couldn't feel his body as his adrenalin ran in order to pump him with the support he needed to keep his feet firm on the ground. The crowd didn't notice his nervousness – it was reported that they went absolutely wild over his act.
1955:
Elvis sang at the Peabody Auditorium at Daytona Beach. This was located in Florida. He performed at 7.30 and 9.30pm.
1960:
The Elvis Presley album 'Elvis is Back' his the UK charts in a rush and peaked to number 1.
1976:
Elvis sang at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This was located in New Haven in Connecticut.
