Don't Fall Prey To 4G Mantra!

Well, are you one of those who would like to have the first of its kind mobiles and technological gadgets in your hands. Then your kind of people are the ones whom the markerters scam around and still gets away.4G is one of the recent scams that has been roaming the market.

With the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) defining the 4G technology a recognition, revealed today that a service could be authenticated as 4G only if this could meet the demands of downloading speed to be around 100Mbps in the high peak zones and 1Gbps in the low peak zones. As of now, ITU have failed to find such services.

What ITU has recently found that is the currently available technologies are HSPA , LTE and WiMAX. What is the scam all about the availability of 4G networks. ITU claims that their scrutinization of mobile carriers found that T-mobile is calling the HSPA and "4G" and others are calling WiMAX and LTE as "4G". Probably, they were thinking of launching the LTE as 5G, while still 4G is not available. Even funnier is that AT&T is calling their HSPA as 3G, while T-Mobile calls this 4G. Even more, what T-Mobile will call their "5G" will be 4G with Verizon and At&T mobile carriers.

While ITU has claimed that they are thinking of laying down norms against such false advertisement claims, what is more funnier that one of the popular carrier in US, T-mobile will be hitting on their brand name. Or is their a scam in alloting such technological advancements.

Verizon Wireless Compensating With $90 Million On Data Charges?

Refunding faulty data charges hardly comes to notice, not until the amount of refunds goes nearly up to $ 95 million as is in the case of Verizon Wireless, who are now refunding their customers for faulty data charges in the bills of nearly 15 million customers. A big Wow!

So how much does an individual customer will get depend on individual customers, but if you are good at maths, you will find this is nor big issue as is only $4 to $6. To get yours rush to Big Red, and wait for the check to reach you or wait until the next bill for October and November to reach to know whether you will be carrying a deduction.

The reason for this is credited to the pressure of FCC and The New York Times for increasing number of complaints. Most of the complaints claimed that they were charged for sessions that was not initiated using their mobiles and were charged more than the normal charge of $1.99 per MB.

Verizon Wireless made this clear that only the number looks bigger this time, otherwise is an usual routine carried out by them following a periodical and monitoring.
