Drowning in Air (LINK)

starfish drowning in air

trapped in a shallow depression as the tide goes out

life giving water fleeing bit by bit

in a hurry to come and can't wait to leave

struggling in a decorous silence

knowing you are to die but making darn sure you don't look uncool doing it.
