From X-Files event line: Millennium "Episode includes the first consensual mouth-to-mouth kiss of Mulder and Scully. The occasion was New Year's 2000." Haha that's quite a description. What was the first non-consensual kiss?? Triangle? lol

That was awesome! I wish it was in slow motion so I could figure out what everything was from. I got most of them, i think... Six days left!!! Aaah!!

STUPID BEE!!!! grrr

I know!! I think I was so stressed out at work that the whole picking up and carrying thing didn't register... WOW... ahaha
They seriously make the hottest couple. Good times

OMG, I just realized that he picks her up and walks away at the end!! Where have I been?? Ahahaha... they sooo should have kept that in the movie.

Paula--I was thinking the same thing!
Meg--what is this computer game you speak of?

Yeah, me either. It would have been fun, but a little creepy.

But about The Kiss... I love the look in her eyes when she figures out Mulder is going to kiss her. She's like, "I care about you so much, I don't want to leave you, I—whaaat? OMG, is this really happening? OK! Let's do it!"

Ahahaha

P.S. That kiss was hottt

P.S. This scene reminds me of two things:

1) DD in some interview remarking on the masterful acting abilities GA's nose and eyes ("they're big, and blue, and wet" or something like that). I totally agree!

2) DD's comment at Wondercon that what made TXF good was that it was able to do so much without having to rely on special effects gimmicks a la CSI's "bullets ripping through internal organs." The whole "less is more" concept... which is also used (almost exhaustingly) with Mulder and Scully's relationship.

Look at television today: People kiss in the very first episode; they have sex at the drop of a hat; and we see (almost) everything... Audiences of today would never put up with the snail-speed evolution of the MSR.
As frustrating as it was waiting for them to get it on, it was also exciting. Part of me is annoyed that Fox toyed with my emotions, but the other part of me is thankful that they held out.

BTW, this all came to mind after watching last week's Grey's Anatomy and the striptease on House. Could you imagine seeing Scully strip for Mulder's subconscious? Of course, it may have happened at some point, but we never saw it...

Oh X-Files, classy to the point of infuriation.
