Another Murder

July 4th 2009 12:05
To follow my own dream when I murdered someone and was being chased by the police, my wife had one where I did the same thing.

While I by no means feel that this shows that I am all of a sudden going to go out and committ murder I do feel that the susequent chase by the police shows that I am running away from something big, something that maybe I need to turn and face up to. But what that is I amstill not sure.

Sleep Paralysis

June 21st 2009 12:21
If anyone has ever suffered from sleep paralysis it can be quite a scary experience. It occurs because the body becomes paralised during a certain stage of the sleep process. If you awak suddenly during this time your body will be un able to move but your mind is working clearly. Another scary part can be that dream residules will cross over and you may feel a presence in the room. It is this phenomenon that is thought to be behind the alien abduction stories.

This brings me to my own experience. I was dreaming of a police chase. I had murdered somone by chopping off their heads. The police chased me everywhere. It was an exciting and enthrawling dream until I awoke and found I couldn't move and to make it worse the head of the person I had murdered was next to me. I could sense it and hear it speaking to me. I tried to scream but nothing came out.

They say when you have a sleep paralysis experience that you should stay calm. You try it with a sevred head next to you.

Ebay dream

June 17th 2009 00:01
I like to dabble on ebay. It makes me a little extra cash but nothing like the amount that I dreamt about last night. I am currently trying to sell the special edition centennial issue of the National Geographic magazine. In my dream I went on to the computer to check how it was going. When I saw that after just one day the amount had reached $45,000 my stoch churned with delight and I was already spending the money in my head. When I awoke I still had a smile from ear to ear but that soon faded when I checked the item for real and found that no one has yet beid on the item.

I feel that this dream was tracking my hopes for my ebay dabbling. That one day i will find an item that is very rare that will make me a lot of money.

Headless smoker

June 15th 2009 10:08
This dream was actually my wifes. She dreamt that she was a care worker for smokers who had their heads cut off for being smokers that can't quit. She cared for them every step of the way as they had their heads re attached and recovered to become none smokers.

There is no doubt that this dream is about my wifes on going battle with quiting smoking. Maybe the fact that in the dream she was a carer is a sign that she needs to stop being so hard on her self take it slow and it will happen.

AFL Training for the afterlife

June 12th 2009 07:38
My creative dreaming or lucid dreams are becoming more common, but I am having problems adapting to this strange dream world. I once thought that as soon as I had mastered the art of lucid dreaming (Knowing that you are dreaming) that I would be able to have some wonderful experiences like flying with the birds, beating Usain Bolt in the 100 meters and meeting Tiger Woods. None of this has eventuauted and I am finding that although I know I am dreaming I am still not very much in control of what happens.

I am currently reading a book all about creative dreamin hoping that it will give some tips and help me on my way to being in full control when ever a dream occurs. In the book it talks about how other religions percive this typ of dreaming. It says that both Hindu's and BUddhists percieve creative dreaming as training for the undrstanding of death and the afterlife

I hated The Da Vinci Code movie, and I hate it even more now I have read and loved the book. I love it not because it is a well crafted thriller, because lets face it it's not. I loved it more like I would love a documentary that has just slapped me in the face and woken me up what the world is really about. I know alot of what is in there is pure fiction, the Priory of Sion for example and their secret documents that author Dan Brown insisits are real were in fact fabricated by a Frenchmen André Bonhomme some 50 years ago. But what did speak to me was the new explination of the life of Jesus and his wife? Mary Magdalene as well as the explination of the sacred femine being worshipped for bringing life on the earth makes a whole lot more sense than the story I was brought up believing.

The book affected me so much that my dream last night was of my own quest for the Holy Grail. In my heart I know it was a fantastic adventure and that I was close to the answer, but as with most dreams when I awoke the full details of the dream were sketchy at best

Arguments continue

June 8th 2009 23:22
My wife and I had a little bit of an argument last night and the argument continued in to my dreams. I was back in my home town of Liverpool England and mywife was there to. She was upset and screaming at me about strange things, such as the way my mother cooks and the way I walk. I could feel my self getting angrier and angrier as I followed her around the streets and tried to calm her down. But in the end it was no good and I was ready to explode when I woke up and realised it was all a dream.

I feel that this has no particular meaning. It was probably just a conituation of the argument we had had before bed. All is good now though.

Stormy Waters

June 7th 2009 05:35
I was crossing a river on one of those rickety old wooden bridges. It was night time. I could see the moon appearing and then disappearing behind the clouds. I looked over the edge and my stomach churned because I was so high up. The water looked more like the ocean in a massive storm as it churned and smashed against the rocks that lined the river banks. I continued on trying my best to get accross when I suddenly fell. I hit the water and could feel the cold envelop me. I was under water and as I struggled to get to the surface I spotted another person under there with me. It was an old school friend of mine called Peter Rain. It was then that I awoke.

I have been pondering the meaning of this dream all day. The bridge and the stormy water could mean that I will have some troubles coming my way that I will have to carefully negotiate. But why did I fall? And why was my old friend in there with me

Legless tooth dream

June 6th 2009 08:24
Last night was full of the strangest dreams. For one I was at a soccer match. The crowd was so loud and the pitch and players looked so real. The ball was crossed in to the box and Harry Kewell popped up to kick a goal but instead collapsed on the floor injured. Then the scene zoomed in to the injury as if I was no linger at the game but instead watching it on TV. As it zoomed I was shocked to see that Harry was rolling around on the floor with one leg missing.

The dream moved on to my mothers house in England. I was stood in the garden looking around my boyhood home when my old cat that has been dead for years came limping towards me. I leaned down to stroke him but awoke with a start when I realised his leg was missing

Fell Over

June 5th 2009 01:30
Last night was very minimal on the dream front I am afraid. The only one that I can remember is one about me running. I was running down a street so fast and I am not even sure why. Suddenly I tripped and awoke with a start before I hit the ground. This is recurring dream that I have and would love it if anyone could tell me what it means.
