Kya Yehi Sach Hai Dull Don 2 Very Good First Week
Kya Yehi Sach Hai opened to very dull houses and has no chance at the box office.
Don 2 had very good first week at around 71 crore nett for its Hindi version and a further 2.50 crore nett for its regional version. The film did exceptionally well at multiplexes but had an average first week at multiplexes. The film has a 70-75% drop on its eight day but will pick up over the weekend and is likely to another good weekend.
Mission Impossible 4; Ghost Protocol takes its two week business to around 32 crore nett. The film is the biggest Hollywood grosser of 2011
Don 2 Second Weekend Fifth Highest Ever
Don 2 (Hindi) grossed 18.75 crore nett over its second weekend. The figure is the second highest this ever and fifth highest of all time. The second weekend territorial breakdown is as follows.

Delhi/UP - 4.21 crore
East Punjab - 2.03 crore
West Bengal - 1.45 crore
Bihar - 33 lakhs
Assam/Orissa - 17 lakhs

Don 2 Has Solid Second Monday
Don 2 had a solid second Monday as it collected around the 3 crore nett range as per early estimates. The collections are holding at multiplexes across the country. It is likely that the collections for the Hindi version will be around the 100 crore nett mark when the second week is over.
In West Bengal, Mysore and Tamil Nadu/Kerala it has turned out to be the biggest hit of 2011. In these three circuits it will emerge the biggest grosser ever after Three Idiots.
Overall the Hindi version of the film should cross the 115 crore nett of Ra.One (Hindi) while the 121 crore nett of Ready is likely to prove a stiff task.

Top Overseas Grossers 2011: DON 2 Tops Followed By RA.ONE
Don 2 has emerged the biggest grosser overseas in 2011 and only blockbuster film of the year. Ra.One, Bodyguard and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara were the other big winners and Super Hit films. Overall the Overseas market saw a much better performance than 2010 in which only one film My Name Is Khan was a big grosser comapared to four last year. The top ten grossers for 2011 are as follows.

Q. Why are reviewers and critics calling Ready, Bodyguard and Ra.One the worst films of the year when they are actually amongst the best?
A. It always happens, its not as if you have to be qualified to be a critic or reviewer. These are basically people giving their opinion on films and if it was not on public platform then it would be okay. When you are a critic/reviewer and using public platform be it newspaper or portal to give your opinion and its not even close to what the readers think then the review automatically is a big failure.
Q. Can Don 2 become the biggest Worldwide grosser of 2011?
A. It will definitely be second and it has chances to be top as well but that will depend on what total it can get from Overseas. A $15 million total from Overseas will take it to the top and above Bodyguard.
Q. Can you tell me if UAE is a three day weekend or four day weekend as films release on Thursday?
A. Films do release a day earlier but the weekend period is Thur-Sat (3 days), there is huge drop on Sunday in UAE.
Q. Can Players take a good opening of over 30 crore nett?
A. Unlikely the film is likely to depend on word of mouth.
