Finish up the year brilliantly

November 7th 2010 16:26
This year flew by. I say this every year but this year flew faster than most. We still have sometime though to finish out this year in a stellar fashion.

Did you make resolutions last New Year's eve? Or do you not make them because you are afraid you can't live up to them? The past two years I made my resolutions a reality, and it felt so good come the end of the year. This year I'm not doing as well but I can still make it. Just need to keep my focus.

Whatever it is you want - take one small step each day or each week, and make it a reality. You are more capable than you realize and greater than you can imagine.

So many folks talk about Catholicism negatively, and then go on to talk about stuff the church actually supports as if the Catholic Church is their enemy. For example; the church's stance on UFO's and aliens.

The Vatican Stance

You do not have to separate yourself from mainstream religion because you believe in UFO's or the supranatural, because that has always been the basis of religion.

It is possible to stay positive even when all around you are your polar opposites. Negativity spreads like cancer, while positivity can seem to many like only a pipe dream. You can not make others see the light, but you can turn on the light within yourself for others to see.

When your light is on you are able to disconnect yourself more from other peoples harsh statements. A lot of times we are just a sounding board for someone who is angry and what they are saying really has nothing to do with us. Yet these kind of experiences can whittle away at self esteem causing yet another person to go full circuit on their energy grid. Don’t let people suck your positive energy away. Learn to distance yourself enough to try and understand what is going on. Once you can understand a person’s behavior the faster you are able to move past it.

Now positive affirmations are sometimes wonderful motivators. Being my # 1 fan always worked for me whenever I was auditioning. However, if someone has low self-esteem to begin with, affirmations could make that person feel worse. Why? Because they will simply see the affirmations as being untrue for them. If you have low self-esteem and most who do I think realize it, you need to find one thing you are especially good at and run with it. Have fun with it, and then you can create your own affirmations.

It is also good to have short term and long term goals. Goals give us purpose and when we have purpose we feel worthwhile. When you are setting your goals dare to be a dreamer and visionary. When people start in with “you can’t do that?”. Ask them, “why?”. Many times when you tell others of your plans and they respond negatively, it is because they once too had plans, but didn’t have the gumption you are showing in following through. Remember they had their chance and you stay focused. Who knows maybe your telling them your plans will help them rediscover theirs. Wouldn’t that make you feel good?

Many times we do not give ourselves enough credit. Every once in awhile take a personal inventory of all the things you do that helps others. Even if it seems very trivial write it down. We never know what act we perform may cause a wonder to occur. A teacher giving a word of encouragement could produce the next Tesla. A kind pastor the next Martin Luthur King. Our potential to affect others lives is endless. When we see the cause and effect of our lives we feel more in control. When we see how we affect things we can’t help but feel good about ourselves and our situation. It’s our mindset and the energy we create around ourselves that fixes that setting. Stay positive folks!

One of Us

September 17th 2010 01:36

What if G-d was one of us? If G-d were to make your acquaintance tomorrow would you be happy, proud, or embarrassed. Will just thinking about that make tomorrow any different for you? For the better or the worse? If you do not believe in G-d, and then met him face to face do you think he'd care if you didn't believe? Or would he care more about how decent a human being you are? Will he care you went to church yesterday when you passed by the starving bums along the way and offered nothing

Chris French vs. David Icke

September 8th 2010 14:17
David Icke is a piece of work. First he was Jesus Christ (how many remember that?) and now he is a white witch who thinks the world is run by reptilians.

His big proof for an inside job is a 1995 Illuminati based card game depicting one of the Twin Towers being nuked. Icke is like how could they have known? I say known what? Both Towers (not one) were taken down by planes - not a nuke. Mr. Icke the first bombing of the north tower was on February 26, 1993. So it wasn't a stretch of anyone's imagination to think it would be targeted again as it had already previously been bombed. He really reaches for stuff and comes short on any real logic. But hey, he is entertaining. And really, if he were anywhere near the truth in getting close to exposing corruption etc., he would seriously have disappeared by now if any powerful world organizations were scared of exposure

I believe in positive and negative energy created by us not brought to us from a past life to work out here. This line of thinking takes the focus off the present which is what we should be working on. Now, I'm not saying I do not believe in past lives or reincarnation, what I'm saying is I do not believe we come here with baggage. I like to think each life is a clean slate. We may have predestined agendas decided on the other side, but it is our reactions to the situations we find ourselves in that further our soul development.

I believe the mineral and water content of our bodies attract energy like a magnet, whether negative or positive is based on our overall emotional health. My personal belief system means that you have to take responsibility for your actions in the here and now and that nothing in a past life (which you have no control over) is effecting you now in the present. I believe that we buy shares in the afterlife, and every good and bad thing we do effects our portfolio which one day we will be called on

Catholics and Ghosts?

August 29th 2010 12:35
This article has come about because of another article I read stating that Roman Catholics believe in ghosts. They do not! They believe that the souls of the dead go to purgatory to prepare for an eventual home in heaven. As a matter of fact the Holy Spirit - was always referred to as the Holy Ghost but they changed it because of spiritualism and the negative connotations associated with belief in ghosts. The Catholics forbid any kind of communicating with the dead. It is never considered OK.

"There shall not be found among you any one who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, any one who practices divination, a soothsayer, or an augur, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer. . . . For these nations, which you are about to dispossess, give heed to soothsayers and to diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you so to do. The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brethren—him you shall heed" (Deut. 18:10–15).

Do you soul search?

Do you give yourself enough credit?

Many times when we do a life review we realize how much we have accomplished. Sometimes we can even see the good we have created and that gives us pride. Almost all of us do not give ourselves enough credit. We highlight our mistakes sometimes, and that drains all the life out of our living. A positive result of a life review is it can give you a more accurate picture of yourself, and have you feeling so much better about things that it puts some life back into your living. It feels great

Why I am here?

August 23rd 2010 18:08
This is a new venture for me. My main goal here is to reach out to others, who are like myself in that they believe there is more to this planet than meets the eye. That not having evidence does not mean you can't make a case for something existing. Electricity can't be seen and yet it exists. No one would have believed that possible until one very eventful kite flight. This is how I see God energy, and I see it as something innate that has to be nurtured or it can become stagnant. It's been here for humankind to utilize, but as of yet science can not define it.

I do live in a rational world, and I owe my very life to science, but I know that their is so much more that scientists haven't discovered yet. To think otherwise is arrogance. Skepticism is a good thing in a healthy dose, but when it makes you blind to possibility you're limiting your chance at actual discovery
