DLF to enter Sensex by replacing Dr Reddy's

Mumbai, October 8: The country's largest realty firm DLF will be included in the coveted BSE benchmark index, Sensex, from November 19.
DLF would replace Dr Reddy's on the Sensex and the change would be effective from November 19, a BSE circular said.
The index committee of the exchange has also decided to change the compositions of BSE-100, BSE-200, BSE-500 and BSE-PSU index.
Idea Cellular, Jindal Steel and Power, Power Finance Corporation, Patni Computer Systems and Union Bank of India would be included on the BSE-100 index from October 15.
Besides, Power Grid Corporation of India, Engineers India and MMTC would replace Balmer Lawrie and Co and HMT Ltd on the BSE PSU index with effect from November19, the circular said.
Among other changes, 13 companies have been replaced on the BSE-200 and 29 firms have been included on the BSE-500 index with effect from October 15, it added.
The committee has made further changes in the various BSE sectoral indices including induction of RNRL and Aban Offshore on the BSE Oil and Gas indices, Spice Communication Ltd, GTL Ltd on the BSE Tech index and Dishman Pharma and Ipca Labs on the Healthcare index.
