Difference between Arsenal and MUFC
February 28th 2011 10:39
Both Arsenal and Manchester United are powerful English football teams with a huge fan following. Both teams have a youth policy which have produced brillaint footballers during the last couple of decades.
For Man Utd, the likes of Beckham, Scholes, Giggs, Newville Brothers and Butt led to trophy winning seasons including the Treble in 1999.
Arsenal though have been producing talent players such as Wilshere, Clichy, Fabregas (stolen from Barca), Bendtner amongst others.
But the main difference between the two sides is simple: Man Utd are known to perform much better in vital games and achieve the most important target: win trophies!!
The defeat of Arsenal at the hands of Birmingham in teh League Cup final 2011 yesterday is anotehr example. Had it been Man Utd, the trophy would have been heading to Old Trafford at this precise moment.
Instead with the immaturity of Wenger's kids and the absence of Fabregas (heading to Barca this summer), Arsenal trophy search is still continuing even if this doestn really suit Wenger's position.
The main solution would be to sack him and bring in Mourinho who is almost certain to be sacked from Madrid in the summer following their 7 points adrift of arch rivals Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga.
At least Mourinho was the only manager who managed to challenge Ferguson's supremacy at the top of the Premier League for 2 successive seasons 9which Wenger could not achieve in 1998)!!
