My own personal opinion is that this story is a fake. It seems to have to many holes in it, because there were no independent observers. 3.2 inches is a rather big egg for a chicken. Ouch!

This story should be followed closely in the future to see if this is true or a hoax of some kind.

On the other hand, if such a story is true, intensive studies need to be done...including dissection...to see what caused this particular chicken to lay an egg within an egg.


I'm betting that this chicken laid such an egg much like the goose that laid the golden one!
