Depression, Will Not Steal Our Dreams
You and I, are not so, indifferent,
for, we have worn, the same dark path.
Where some black cloud thief of sight,
stole into our youthful minds.
Planting seeds, of fear and doubt
that grew in groves and pushed about
our joys and pride, till they moved out.
Often less, than more, the pain we endure subsides.
As that black cloud goes drifting by,
uncovering our eyes.
Revealing our dreams, and while our vision is clear,
we pursue them one by one, until that same black cloud
again, covers up our sun.
