Working Title - by Hazel Castillo

Dem Reps

I'm not American, not even a citizen who's voting but with all the exposure all over the friggin media, who can avoid knowing what they're doing for the coming elections??

Some say the outcome may have a huge affect on the rest of the world, but I could hardly care. Then again, I work for an American company so maybe I should... just a little bit.

Seeing all of what's happening with these caucuses and what-nots that i still don't fully understand and don't want to fully understand, I'm getting annoyed at how two people from the same party are ruining each other's dignities and faces and names in front of their voting publice AND the rest of the world.

If I were voting I'd probably vote DEM. Neither's fine for the "greater good." How would it look like they want what's for the greater good now when they can't just fight a clean good fight.

right, I'm being too idealistic and maybe even naive.

Seriously, I thought they had two very reputable characters willing to fight for the greater good of their nation until now. You see fights and fight backs here and there and the whole world wants to know? Not really. To be honest, it's getting annoying.

So please, if neither wants to let go of the run, then let the public decide and stop stinkin' up the other person's name.

Easy for me to say huh?

Just my thought...

I hate politics.

If it helps, we Americans are pretty tired of it too. I think the reason it has become so hotly contested is because most of us (DEMS) know that the Clintons are a very shady, dishonest family. However, people are apparently realizing that Barack Obama is a human being, and they are a little disappointed that he doesn't have magic powers.

Hillary's support comes from big timers who have something to gain from her Presidency, and what our Press calls "Beer Drinkers." This ofcourse if is a nasty euphemism for working class people who didn't go to college. I am a member of the working class, and I don't know anyone who likes her.

What people here in the U.S. need to realize is that this is a choice between two flawed human beings. For some reason , people seem to want it to be the ultimate fight between good and evil. I'm sure you can tell who I support from my comments, but I am under no illusion that he is the Second Coming.

What it all boils down to is that we have been living under the Bush admin. who has slowly been trying to turn the US into a fascist state, we survived 9/11, and we are waging a war that 85% of us want nothing to do with.

I think the tension comes from the fact that we want so badly to regain our dignity in the world, and we want so badly to have real change, but we are so afraid to make the wrong decision. And some people in the political realm are exploiting our confusion. I pray that the Dem party makes the right decision, because we certainly don't want John McCain to become President. He wants to keep troops in Iraq for the next 100 years.

Sorry to go on. I just thought it was a unique opportunity to provide a perspective from an American who is just as tired of this B.S. as you are!

Hi Natalie!

Nice to hear from an American!

I truly appreciate your thoughts and input on this thing. Although I'm also just expressing my own thoughts in this blog, I'm glad I can see someone else's view.

It's also refreshing at some point to hear an American's opinion outside the news media which have the tendency to be overrated or overly controversial.

I'm hoping for the best turnout for your nation. Somehow they DO affect the rest of the world.

See you around!
