Defend Your Castle (Wii Ware) Review

Sorry, I couldn't get on for a while. I realize it has been three days, but keep with me here.

Rating-9.2/10

Have you ever played X-gen games' Defend Your Castle game? If not, then this is the perfect opportunity to. For only 500 wii points, this game is crazy! It's fast paced, upgradeable game play is what makes this game so widely played.
Basically, you are a king in his castle, but this king has telekinesis, the ability to move objects with his mind. The evil barbarians are trying to raid your castle, so as the king, it's your duty to sit back and use telekinesis to defend. You can also use archers, explosives, stonemasons, and wizards.

You start off in round 1. All you can do is grab the enemies with B and throw them up in the air. Master this, or you will be a dead duck. You must defend until sundown, which in round 1 is not long away.
After round 1, you will be able to upgrade your castle! I suggest (unless your castle is damaged) that you save up for the pit of conversion. Buy nothing else. Once you get the cauldron, use it as often as possible. You need troops. Take enemies and drop them in the pit. then, when the pit shows up again, throw another in! By the time you buy the archery range, the cauldron will be full.
Put all but two of your troops in the towers. Keep two troops always, and only send them out when the enemy is swarming your gate. Then make one munition expert. Blow up all the enemies. Keep the last one for EXTREME emergencies!!!

Anyway, even though it just came out today, I have played it a great deal. Buy this game if you have the wii points.

This sounds really cool -- what do you mean by 500 Wii points?

Wii Points are the credits the Wii Virtual Console / Shop Channel uses for the purchase of games on the service.

500 Wii Points works out at around $8 Australian or $5 USD.

Hi -- I've sent you an email already but sometimes they don't get through. Would you like a domain for this blog? If so send an email to charles -at- orble.com (change the -at- into a @) and he will be able to set one up for you.

You may also need to add the email address admin -at- orblemail.com to your address book in order to receive Orble admin emails in the future.

Thanks,
Jon.
