After some discussion about this idea a while ago I've set up a new blog Debate Battle.

The idea is to hold debates on volunteer host blogs which will help promote that blog and provide us with some entertainment.

I need some volunteers to host the first few debates. If you are interested leave a comment on this post or send me a PM.

Hi Jon,
I'd love to host a debate on my site re the election. Who actually did vote Liberal? I'd love to understand the mindset of these people more.
Maybe:
"John Howard was one of the best PM's Australia's ever had." Discuss...?
