You had better make up your mind soon before the polls are closed.
So you had better Google all the domestic issues, watch all the party conventions and ride the emotional roller coaster. You had better worry yourself silly about who in charge of appointing judges and whether they have a comprehensive health care system. You had better be concerned as to whether they have the ticker to keep going. For every gaff they make you had better have a readymade excuse. For ever mistake the opposing candidate makes you had better have a readymade insult. After all this is so important and you input is tremendously needed.
This is the hour of need and they need you.
You should all get worried and upset at what is going on because you opinion does count.
However even though you do not get a vote it does not mean that you vote would not count. It just means that your vote will never be counted.
No I am going off to think about something else rather than this travelling circus called the American Electoral Process. Call me when it is over and tell me who won. Then I will know who I am meant to be hating for the next 4 years.
Face Saving for Beginners
Some say it is okay to stalk if you have a noble cause. So pick any cause and call it noble.
Saving face is a time honoured tradition that has its roots in biblical times( Perhaps further back). However the first recorded story about saving face was with Adam and Eve. When God asked who ate the apple the answer was, It was this crazy womans fault. She gave me the apple and I ate it. The moral of that story was all about losing face (So much for the nude utopian Garden of Eden future.) Face saving progressed further when Cleopatra decided that it was better to take poison than say she was sorry for bonking two Romans. Remember Et tu Brute? Remember the falling on the sword exit for all those that do not want to be humiliated before they are tortured and killed. How many children when facing up to a horror parent teacher meeting would rather fall on their swords than have it known to mum or dad how much of a little rotter they really are? That explains why swords are no longer part of the school uniform. Note the pattern. Saving face comes in two main thrusts: One is the blaming of others and the other is avoiding responsibility.
Yet lets not dwell upon the negatives of the Face Saving Exercise. Instead we should be acting like those petty little self appoint politicians who have nothing better to do and celebrate it. We should all learn how to save face like a professional and put aside any doubts that everyone can see it as stupid. Those people do not exist. They never do and you will never be making yourself look more foolish in the process of face saving because..... your cause (which includes saving your butt) is a noble cause. You have to build the new world utopia and no one must stand in your way. So we will begin with types of face saving.
The Verbose Face Saver (Biggus Nuff Nuffus)
If there is one thing that should be done when facing down the defeat of faulty logic, poor research or manic ideas, one must be confident enough to stay with the same line. Always make the same statement over and over again with more adjectives and in BOLD PRINT when you feel you need emphasize a point. Subtle is not for this writer as that would require less bold lettering and having to actually engage idea rather than trigger emotions. Repetition makes will eventually wear down the opponent and as soon as they give up on arguing then you can claim victory (even if it takes 3 days).
Attack on the Retreat (Partus Shotus)
Had enough of being asked questions this beast of the blunder will always retreat with no explanation of why they disagree other than those who are not in total agreement are abviously wrong. Leaving the battle field after the truce is handled with parting hand grenade insult. Where an apology is offered no reciprocal apology should ever be given. Instead just complain about being tired of this and blame the other party before galloping away. That way you can claim some kind of victory in your own head.
Blubber Guts (Blubber Guttus)
Ever had that sinking feeling that everything you say is falling on deaf ears. Have you just wasted 2 hours belching out a tirade of insults supported with evidence from various conspiracy sites only to find out someone has gone to effort to look up all those sources? Are you insults getting weaker and people pointing out that you are just flinging insults? Then it is about time to cry victim. If you fling out an insult then the best way to stop them flinging back is to cry victim. Wa Wa Wa...! Get the idea? Dont pick on me I am the victim here despite spending the last 3 days doing nothing but insult you. Being politically correct and a minority makes you an underdog and as everyone knows it is wrong to pick on the underdog. Now everyone belongs to some minority group, so if you think you are not a minority then think harder. Find a minority that you can belong to. Victimhood makes a great base to strike from because it justifies every cowardly attack. You fling you vitriol then if any comes back: Wah, wah, wah, I am the victim and that makes me right. It may seem pathetically like self pity but it is a key tool for saving face.
Stalking (Dipus Shitus)
Just because there is a real world it does not mean that you have to live in it. In fact the real world is a very scary place where stalkers go to prisons where they may share a cell with an insane axe murderer turned cross dresser. You may even find romance in the cell, in between being sodomized with a broken light bulb. So by all means the real world will never catch up with you because you are free. Ignore it and it does go away. See that girl on line that rejects your charms and lewd jokes she is really deserving of your constant badgering. Digging up personal; details on people to fling about like a weapon? No that is not crazy, creepy or vomits with repulsiveness. Why do you ask?
This is just an introduction to face saving and I am sure that there so many experts out there who have learned the art through shear desperation. After all saving face is considered in some circles as being far more important that making a valid point. Perhaps we should all join them in the lovely mud bath that they enjoy so much.

How come the Cold War just keeps going without a reason?
The billion Year War has just begun
Blame is probably one the most overused tactics in international relations. Start from a position of blame so as to put the other country on the defensive trying to explain a list of accusations. It is not that the other nation cannot explain those accusations but the fact that so much energy and media air time is consumed with such wasteful exercises that makes it so easy to use. Nowhere is this more true than in the relations between Russia and the USA. Where smaller nations with less military clout are left wondering what they are actually getting at.
It is easy to fall back in the partisan bunker mentality where the foreign devil cannot possibly do anything right. Allegiances and loyalties have long histories that go back to the old Warsaw Pact and the NATO Alliance where both side stood ready to go to war at a minutes notice. Jokes about Ronny Regan with his finger on the button and Andropov iron fist belong to another era. The Soviet Union collapse in part because it was no longer economically viable and in part because the average Soviet had ceased to believe that was any workers paradise about to be delivered. The Soviet Union collapsed; the Berlin Wall was toppled; Communism died and Russia became democratized. We should all be happy but are we? Yet even though old enemies are stripped of their ideological excuses they seem to be jostling toward a cold war regardless.
Two major issues in recent news gives an insight into the tensions that are once again building between the old super powers. One is the crisis in South Ossetia and the other is the US Missile Defense Shield that is soon to be located in Europe.
The current South Ossetia crisis started with Georgian Forces firing missiles into South Ossetia and flattening neighbourhoods. This resulted in a mass exodus of refugees and claims that over 2000 people had been killed. This was followed by the influx of the Russian army into Georgia. Why the President of Georgia took such a provocative action is a matter of speculation, yet why he thought that he could get away with it may have been related to him assuming that he would have USA and NATO rushing to his defense. Yet so far that has come from either of those forces is rhetoric and promises. In the meantime as if to show that they will not be dictated to by the Bush Administration the Russian forces seem to be waiting around. No amount of condescending speeches by C Rice will budge them. The new dynamic of Europe is the fact that Russia is getting back on its military feet due ironically to increased wealth created by high oil prices.
The Missile Defence Shield is of greater concern to Russia with PM Putin and even retired President Gorbachov both claiming the move is provocative. The Bush Administration claim that such a shield is required to defend against missile threats from North Korea and Iran. Neither claim seems to hold up to any scrutiny. North Korea is on the opposite end of the earth to Europe and Iran does not even have any missile that could reach Europe as yet. Why build a missile defence shield well outside the rage of the missiles it is meant to defend against? Wouldnt make more sense to place such defences closer to source like in Turkey, Iraq, UAE, Saudi, Arabia, Pakistan and even Afghanistan all are much closer to Iran. So either designers of this missile defence are complete idiots or they are not really trying to black Iran. Instead Russian is viewing this as little more than an excuse to surround their nation with rocket sites.
In the past week we have seen what is perhaps the future of relations between Russia and the USA. Rather than being the New World Order it has all the hallmarks of the old world order where national rivalry and sabre rattling happen over the heads of smaller nations. As each side try to establish their place in the modern world it would appear that the Cold War mentality may once again dominate.
