Thailand Khao San Road Peace Story

February 9th 2009 03:15
Thailand Nite Life!

Thailand has suffered the extreme Boxing Day - Tsunami the worst natural disaster to ever strike Thailand and still recovering. God Bless.

I had a chance to travel to Thailand and check out Bangkok, Khao San Road and some of the Islands.

I saw a tourist from every country I know. Its packed with people from everywhere and we had a great time. This is a visit for someone who wants to grow and change. Thailand is very inspiring and motivating as well as encouraging with the presence of the Buddhist temples . A Life Recovery! Its definitely an example of the Recovery of a Nation. We can learn Change, Hope and Recovery for all. And continue on the recovery road.

Damir continually matured as an artist, evolving from a punk street kid to an educated teacher. Such growth made the lyrical content expand on every release and prolonged his increasingly storied career to epic proportions.

Damir, son of two poor parents, Damir managed to finish school and then continued education, mixing up the classroom and the streets to be able to survive and succeed the Parkdale projects. Damir developed a high degree of literacy that would later characterize his rhymes and style. At the same time, though, he captured street culture and thought provoking rhyme schemes with clever writing styles filled with his experiences, danger and social life which characterize his rhymes. His flavor of well-crafted rhetoric and social commentary of street imagery caught the attention of the public in 2006 when he released Black and White and hit the nerves of the listeners with "Business" that earned him instant respect among the Underground rap scene in the western world and world wide.

In Canada the winter season is harsh, most escape to Cuba legally--and Americans illegally.

I don't really follow politics or follow any one, I love to travel and discover new lands and see the world. So much politics for a beach that is beautiful and the largest Caribbean island. My trip to Cuba was the time of my life and also very insightful to legal restrictions on Americans who visit there. We all want our passports stamped to remind us of our trip, but if your American you probably want to stay away from that passport stamp. I was shocked to here that restrictions still apply for Americans traveling to Cuba.

To whom do these sanctions regulations apply? All U.S. citizens and permanent residents wherever they are located, all people and organizations physically in the United States, and all branches and subsidiaries of U.S. organizations throughout the world. If your an American citizen it is ILLEGAL for you to step one foot on Cuban land because the United States Government has an EMBARGO AGAINST ANYTHING to do with CUBA!!!

That means that Americans can't travel there, cant exchange goods or money until the Embargo is lifted and it is unlikely to be lifted until Fidel Castro, who is the country's Leader or DICTATOR, depends on how you see him, dies, passes away or steps down from his position of Cuban leader. Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz (born August 13, 1926) is the current Cuban leader, though due to illness, his duties have been transferred to his younger brother, Raúl Modesto Castro Ruz.

WHO CAN GO - The following travelers are authorized, Journalists, Official government travelers, Full-time professionals, Travelers who have received specific licenses from OFAC prior to going. Specific licenses are described in a detailed description on the government website which includes Specific licenses to visit immediate family members* in Cuba.

And I say anyone can go to Cuba. Cause you gotta go see the coral reef, swim with dolphins- believe it I shook hands with the dolphins fin

, underground caves and eat oysters on the beach ( i know what your thinking but at least try it ) and check out the exciting Cuban culture, music and tropical weather if you get a chance, you have to put Cuba on your top ten list. And don't worry about going, most Americans fly to Cuba via third countries -- Mexico, Canada and the Bahamas. I say come to Canada and fly into Cuba from here. Canada offers you the easiest and safest way to reach Cuba! Eh, Safe.

As Michael Moore in New York put it: "Let the American people travel freely to Cuba if they choose to do so" . And both countries should shake hands now in these modern times. The beaches are the best in the Caribbean and its a perfect place to take a fresh look at where our world is today. Ive never been a follower, I guess I'm an adventurer and thats what brought me to Cuba. All this, and an exceptionally warm welcome from the Cuban people, makes the island so attractive to millions of tourists from around the world and my friends and I. With Canada's winter season being at an estimated minus 30 degress Celsius = minus 22 Fahrenheit, its definitely worth getting on a plane with my American neighbors for a 3 hour flight to Cuba to hang out with the revolutionary leader Castro Fidel and the wonderful Cuban people. There is something about Cuba and there's something about that man in the photo.

Damir Cn Tower Tallest Building
Damir CN Tower
Today was a wild adventure visiting Canada's CN Tower. and I'm so excited, let me tell you a little bit about this day.....it was like walking in the sky, you can see airplanes fly by right beside you and you feel like you are King Kong escaping the city. Leaving the hustle of the traffic below and stepping out of the big city life in less than one minute. Its like you are Superman able to scale the tallest building in one bound.

In only 58 seconds, traveling up in the glass-fronted elevator you can see an unbelievable view as you race up at 22 kilometers (15 miles) per hour. Pressed up against the glass window your city gaze expands peripherally and opens up straight ahead in all directions in less than a minute. Expect line-ups at the front entrance. Ya, I was listening to Akon's mp3s on my ipod waiting 1 hour for the elevator up, but its well worth the wait. Thats right, you are one of approximately 2 million people who go up to Canada's CN tower every year; a symbol of pride and structural achievement. Faster than a speeding bullet to the top, so to speak, a symbol of accomplishment, speed and strength representing success. We are living in the Modern World, and this Wonder of the World gives you the greatest city view that stretches out from the inner city-suburbs to its skyline, that doesn't compare

It is a wonderful, exciting and an eye opening experience visiting the highly-secured Johnson Space Centre. To be able to launch into space and to see the most impressive view captured by technology and seen by our eyes; Earth aka The World. Shooting our imagination to infinity but also helps us reflect on what we are doing here on Earth.

The new frontier is that where we will be able to find peace or just another extension of war. What are we doing here on Earth, maybe we need to look in from the outside and see that common sense is not so common anymore

The Brief Summary: "I wanted to remind people that the division is not only two countries but the world. And visiting the DMZ; the view was spectacular, and a real sightseeing adventure, looking into the past, historically and hopefully looking into the future peacefully".
