Rainy days makes me nostalgic. It makes me think about my college years when suspension of classes during July and August was like part of the curriculum. I would envy my classmates who live in nearby dormitories because while they were comfortably lying on their beds, more often than not, I was struggling to walk in brown (sometimes black), flood waters surrounding the university just to find a bus so I can get home.
That was ten years ago. Now, I live in a city where floods are not that prominent. I do not have to find a bus because every working day, my loving husband religiously drives me to the office and picks me up in the afternoon. I go home to see my adorable eight-month old son smiling at me as I enter our home.
Life is wonderful and I am very grateful that God gave this meaningful life. I am truly blessed.
