Cunt

It is with sincere and deep regret that I inform you I will no longer be using this term of reference.
I say with regret because it was an all-encompassing word I used with enormous relish to describe cowardly, grim bullies and overbearing, severely nasty people.
But I am joining in with the women's lib movement to claim back the word and doing my bit for the sisterhood.
Therefore I will be self-censoring myself and discarding this pure form of vulgarity.
Instead I shall use other terms of reference.
Faves include prick, cocksucker and the oldie but goodie, asshole.
I quite like ball-hair as well.

"Cunt" is one of the few words that still carries weight in society. Few utterances can provoke such a primal reaction when spoken. It carries an emotional weight of anger, hatred or dislike that no other word in modern English can claim.
Sure there may be more "intellectual" or Socially acceptable alternatives but i am a believer that every word is designed with a very specific element of power to communicate and nothing can match the "C" word at certain select times.
Admittedly just like many other slang terms, overuse is a downfall when used as a lazy alternative.
I don't agree with censorship and really despise the "superiority and arrogance of those that consider one combination of letters more "worthy" than others. Language is there to be used in all its range of colours.
Fun post thanks for sharing.
