If I didn't think I'd do better

December 10th 2011 19:33
When did I start thinking about things like, "Is it too cold to go outside?"

When I was a kid we wanted to be outside as much as we could, no matter what the weather.

When did that change?

How can I get it back?

Paul Theroux's Tao of Travel

This book would be an excellent choice of Christmas gift for someone who loves to read travel literature.

It's beautifully packaged with a red cover, bevelled page corners, heavier than usual paper, and an overall welcoming look and feel to it.

There are gems of travel writing from many of the best, covering the world of English travel lit, and spanning centuries.

Highly recommend it.

About Anglophiles

I actually don't fit the description below but it crossed my mind that some people do.

"You can be an Anglophile or you can live in England, but it's hard to do both at the same time."

When something crosses my mind, I sometimes think, gee, I should really write that down.
