Conservative Republicans -- Brain Dead
October 7th 2011 17:28
The history of any democracy where elections are periodically held will note that often one side puts up extremely weak candidates so that the other side will win.
This is done either;
a) because the opposition agrees with the way the country is governed and doesn't desire change
b) the country is in such a mess they don't want to be held responsible.
John McCain and Sarah Palin were a comedy team the Republicans shoved forward because George W. had made such a shambles that there was no way to clean up the mess.
Anyone who ran in 2008 on the Democratic Ticket would win, and Barack Obama knew it and used it.
Since 2008 the Republicans have had no interest in 2012, for the clean up would take more than 4 years. Hence, for the past three years the spotlight has been on clowns who couldn't be trusted to run a P.T.A.
There are no credible Republicans. No one who has the intellect or ability to be President of the United States. Hence, it is better to let the Dems have the eight years between 2008 and 2016 while sensible persons are groomed for leadership.
It is clear from any outside vantage point that the 'front runners' are ridiculous, and ridiculous by choice.
Those which may have a chance are discouraged, and the vast swarm of Tea Party zombies are allowed to rush to the fore so that the world is amused by the goings on.
Tragically, there are actually Americans who believe that Palin and Christie and the rest of the circus are actually candidates. These 'Conservatives' are there to block the view of the public so the leadership of the Republicans can formulate their policies behind closed doors away from the media.
One doesn't expect much intellect from the Red Neck who has been taught to hide his racism behind euphenism. One is a bit shocked when a so-called educated person falls for the Tea Party.
But then, brainwashing the public has always been the forte of America.
China was painted as the worst place in the world, until Nixon went to visit.
Iraq had weapons of Mass Destruction until none were found.
Conservative Republicans will find themselves backing a young Liberal candidate, forgetting how they were willing to die for Sarah Palin.
So it goes.
