I'm concerned that the carbon trading scheme would mean that normal, ordinary household would be overburdened with higher costs, when everyone at the moment is suffering now with already high costs of food, fuel and everything else, and now garnaut wants the already overpriced cost of petrol included in the scheme??? Which will mean that the price of petrol will rise even further hurting everyone, including the economy.What about lowering the price of petrol and investing research on new energy sources for our economy? Our economy would suffer if we follow garnaut's advice.Maybe his advise should be followed by China, which is making everything we buy from our shops.If we were to follow garnaut and not China, the temperature won't change much, because China's economy is powering the world.
