Climate Report Controversy
February 7th 2010 17:43
Just when I think that I am the only one who finds climate statistics inaccurate and easily manipulated, I find a growing truth to this theory among my peers. I really hate to sound like I'm repeating myself on the topic by giving my own statistics, but experts are finding flaws to the climate-pushers theories of doom.
The UN climate change panel inaccurately claimed that the Netherlands is over half below sea level due to climate change. The claim was false but they manipulated statistics. From the article:
... but the body has faced fierce criticism over the glacier mistake.
Glaciologists have discredited the Himalaya claim, which is being withdrawn, and the controversy has given fresh ammunition to climate sceptics.
I continue to be a skeptic over man-made global warming and believe that natural warming is unavoidable and man can't do anything to prevent it. I still believe that the earth seeks balance and tends to regulate itself. The balance is not always without casualties.
