Cleopatra - The African Turned Queen
July 31st 2010 09:09
Cleopatra has been famed for having been a Greek-Egyptian princess turned queen. However pagan myth tells that she was a native African, who walked amongst the native forests that once grew in abundance. Her tribe of people had fought those from the north, and died in the battle. She was the only one of her tribe left alive.
However there were travellers who ventured to Africa, and began to make war on the valley. There was nothing much to make war against - except the natural environment. However they charged forth as though the land contained a dozen armies.
When Cleopatra was spotted, she was hunted by some tribal groups. She was captured and taken to the king. The king was a foreigner who was perhaps Roman, or Greek. He was a god to the people who followed him - one who was made of animals, and was popular against the Egyptian religion. He was the ugliest king there was - however there was some tenderness inside of him.
He made Cleopatra his bride in an instant. He knew she was most safe within such a position which gave her leverage in order to keep her away from the unsafe world. He took her to live in his founded kingdom - it was a kingdom which was on the west bank of Africa, and was remarkable.
It had pure white marble walls, and floors, that were inlaid with gold. Its architecture was amazing, and made the world one that was beautiful. However nothing was restful in this castle - soon the Romans charged forth in order to take down the rule of the animal king, and Cleopatra was taken captive by the Romans.
It is not known what happened to her - some say she was killed by the Romans, others say that she was cast into slavery, and others still say that she was buried.
