Civil War fragments released!

In lieu of actually releasing the comics on time, Marvel are teasing us with snippets and fragments from Civil War #4, the much-awaited and long-delayed next issue in their line-wide event of the Summer (er, make that the Autumn and the Winter too. Better throw in Spring just in case...)
For those coming in late, here's the scoop on what's happening in the Civil War miniseries. Some punk heroes called the New Warriors screwed up while apprehending a group of z-list villains, and a whole lot of school kids got blown up (somebody think of the children!). So the government gets pissed, and decides that superheroes have to get registered and trained now, and reveal their secret identities. Iron Man thinks this is a good idea. Captain America thinks this is a bad idea. Heroes pick sides and fight each other. Good times!
In the interests of fun, I've decided to dissect these images and see what can be seen. If any good little Marvel soldiers are waiting patiently for the next issue, look away now - here be spoilers! For the full-size images, check out Newsarama
Hey, it's Thor! Looking all badass and not dead! That's right, good old Thor is back from the afterlife, and he's joined up with Iron Man's pro-registration team to kick ass and provide cool lighting effects. Not much to be gleaned from here that wasn't on the last page of last issue, but the art sure looks nice - this I can handle waiting for!
You know, the Falcon sure is prominent here... We know from the last issue of Cable & Deadpool (and if you're not reading it do so RIGHT NOW!) that someone dies in this fight. Being black guys, the Falcon and Black Goliath are prime candidates. And just look whose mug is plastered all over these pics! Poor Falcon, we hardly knew ye... get well soon!
Man, it's Dagger! If there's one thing I've loved about Civil War, it's that a whole lot of obscure characters have popped up to fight each other. Where else could we see the Battling Bantam get blown through a petrol tanker? The Battling Bantam? You know, South American guy in a chicken suit?
Anyway, the pics above sure don't make things look good for Cap's team...
Cap's angry. Angry at Iron Man, if I read that "pampered punk" line correctly. That's an interesting line that highlights the differences between these guys. Cap grew up dirt poor if my patchy Cap knowledge is accurate, and Iron Man was the son of a billionaire. If they're going to be in conflict for the foreseeable future, stuff like this is gold.
Hey, there's Falcon again... Cap don't look to good either.
LOOK OUT FALCON! LOOK OUT!
Well, that does look like a fun issue, in a series I've enjoyed the hell out of so far. It's no great shakes as a political commentary, but as a vehicle to hang a whole lot of hero vs. hero fights on it just about holds together. It's good to see Marvel getting some material out there to maintain interest.
