chronic pain-are you insane?

Chronic pain,does it make you feel like you're insane?Friends forget you,out of sight,out of mind.Feel like doctors either have given up,are tired of you,or just don't believe you anymore.
Do you get the question,suggestion,that you're depressed?What a remarkable perspective...you're in pain all the time...and you're depressed! I would think if you weren't depressed,something's wrong with you.
I remember when first being treated for migraine,they put me on a med that made me gain weight,like 20pds within 2 months.I went in for a doctor appt and the nurse asked me if I thought it was the weight causing my migraines.
I am now having pain all over.I have been thru this before,when I was diagosed with hashimoto's thyroiditis.But the doctor doesn't see the need to do bloodwork to check it.It's been at least 4-6 months since it was checked.I think it's important to do that.So I'll call and get an appointment to talk to my doctor.
There are days that I can get out and do something, other times I just can't get out of bed.People don't understand that.
When you have a "mystery disease" that takes over your life,that puts you in constant pain,but you dont have a cat scan,xray,mri that shows something,that defines what you have,then it isn't real.
I don't want this,didn't ask for it.And why would I fake it,attention,what attention?
