Freelance Online Work - Sunday

June 13th 2009 23:43
Does anyone else get huge amounts of emails on a Sunday offering the next get rich scheme. It's crazy I am getting them every weekend. I am just happy that I really work freelance online.

I am delighted to be given the chance to expand this blog, I have been a reader for a long time and I hope that I can build on Lynne Smythe's success. I have always found her writing very good and she has always been approachable.

My aim is to develop this blog from a freelance writer's blog, to a blog that helps all freelancers. I will also cut down on the external linking to other writing sites, because after all an Orble blog should be an entity in itself, and not just a bookmarking opportunity.

Please feel free to offer any freelance related feedback.

All The Best

Chris

PS Heres a PLR article that I think somes up a freelancer

"" Everyday hundreds, thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people decide to investigate the idea of working from home or starting their very own home-based business. They have heard of others that have done so who have been very successful...maybe even wildly successful at it.

Some of these people are very computer savvy individuals. They may even have the ability to build their own webpages. They certainly know the ins and outs of operating a computer. Others aren’t all that computer savvy but they think they have a great idea for an Internet business and are sure that they can find a way to follow their dream.

The Internet really is the great equalizer. The level of formal education that a budding Internet entrepreneur has doesn’t seem to have much bearing on the degree of success that they can achieve on the Internet or how much of a failure they can become. There are those who have reached dizzying heights of success who never finished high school and those who have hit rock bottom who have multiple college degrees.

The commonalities of those who succeed in either working from home or running a home-based business are:

They are all self-starters.

They have a positive attitude.

They are willing to learn.

They develop the necessary survival skills....it really is a jungle out there.

If you are considering starting, or have already started working from home or a home-based business, you are obviously a self-starter.

You wouldn’t have even considered such a venture if you didn’t have a positive attitude.

You are apparently willing to learn, you are reading this book.

The world of Internet business is the electronic equivalent of a jungle. In words made famous in “The Wizard of Oz”, “There are lions and tigers and bears, oh my!” Survival and success aren’t based on education. They are both based upon the mastering of survival skills. ""

Just a quick heads up to let you know that Pokerstars.com are holding a charity poker event to give aid to the Australian Bushfire Appeal. The event will take place on June 13th 21.30 ET on the Pokerstars site.

The event is a no limit hold em event and the buy in is $10 $10, that is $10 towards the prize-pool and $10 to The Bushfire Appeal. There are no re-buys

Poker Pro blog

June 2nd 2009 22:46
I am happy to take over the Pokerproblog because I have been playing poker online for the past 5 years. It seems really easy sometimes to dismiss Poker as a passtime for a few when there are always thousands playing online.
I have collected lots of money playing Poker, I hope with the help of the information I share on this blog you can too.

Just over a week ago I stumbled upon a secret, it was a secret that everyone in britain and many abroad wanted to know but couldn't find an answer to.

Before I go any further, please promise that you will not click on any adsense links because I do not want to make any money by giving you this information.

Thank-you Orble and Orblers

October 10th 2008 06:21
I just wanted to say thank-you to all active Orble bloggers for showing us inactive bloggers that this whole Orble system/site works.

I first signed up over a year ago, and to say the least I was sceptical. However, I made a few posts and recieved good feedback. I was given a domain as promised and proceeded to earn over $5 adsense, and then....

What's your suggestion?

September 24th 2008 22:00
After several quality posts on my sub domain (now deleted) I was lucky enough to be given kbdollars.com by Orble about 7 months ago.

I originally intended to continue with the keyboarddollars theme and I have lots of ways of making extra online. However, kbdollars sounds like an oriental name for a website, and it's not a title I've ever been comfortable

KB Dollars is back!!

January 24th 2008 22:55
I was given the privilege to write for my first Orble domain site about two weeks ago. Thank-you Charles and Jon for your support. I chose KB Dollars because I felt that the title summed up what we all hope to do here. That is make a few dollars via our keyboards.

Over the next few days I will be ripping up some of the posts that already exist on this Orble because quite frankly a couple are out of date and others were just wrong in the first place

What time to post?

November 7th 2007 22:57
Given that most users here are from Australia, would it make more sense to list at a different time as I am from the UK?

I only ask this because at our daytime the blogs are quite quiet. One day Orble will be truely global, but until then I have to be pragmatic

Yes Jon the RSS feed looks fine, but My blog log doesn't pick it up. Could it be a problem with them?

Chris

PS I am away to St Kilda tomorrow for 5 days, if you respond and I don't answer it's because I can't.

Sorry I should have explained that it is my Orble feed that doesn't seem to be updating. I have tried putting my feed address elsewhere, but no new feeds have come through.

Thank-you in advance

Chris

Hi Anon,

This is to protect the innocent minors, and their future, so anything that may lead to their identification (whether their name or others involved) should and legally must, not be used in the public arena.

Did you read my post? It's just that baby P had already been brutally killed and you are concerned about his future?

Chris

PS- Please show your username if replying

Hi David,

Surely the reason that his name wasn't published was obvious? For you to publish his name is very careless, even if it was already on a newspaper website.

After 10 years of Blairs nanny state, unfortunately not everything is obvious. The criminals in this country get far too much protection, and that's what I felt was happening.
Yes I am humble enough to admit in hindsight that it was very careless. That's precisely why I haven't named the baby, his mother or step-dad again.

At that point the media really should have stopped referring to the young girl as "Pumpkin".

I totally agree, the press should think before they start using these stupid names to describe real human beings.

Thank-you For taking time to comment

Chris

Hi Samantha,

I recently wrote some things on the internet that were harmless (I thought) but had offended some people I knew.

I hope it is sorted now, it's amazing how quickly what we write can be found because we use our real names.

Thank-you for taking time to comment

Hi

Welcome to Orble,

So you think it's funny to throw things at people who are/or seem to be less well off? I'm not putting your views down, but am just curious.

Great article Michaelie,

Forrest whitaker is just such a method actor, he really is believable in every film I see him in. And Helen Mirren, you should see her in prime suspect, that is even more impressive.

Hi Cibby,

Thankyou for an excellent, very informative post. Your' actual stats and explanation were very encouraging. Incidentally, now that you have built a successful readership, would you prefer to get adsense commission instead of being employed?

I just came across these figures in a discussion, which just shows how Orble has grown. It proves that visitors can grow over time, this was from just over 1 year ago:

Hi MelissaA,

Thankyou for your' response, I am glad to hear your' connection is sorted. You are right, it didn't make any difference to views when I posted closer to Australian time. The views just happened a lot quicker. A warm welcome to the UK, which part of Britain did you move to?
I am amazed that someone would move to the UK to get away from all that Australian sand sea and surf.
