China has turned out to be the first country of target. This piece of information came out in Lookout Mobile Security, wherein they started intimating and creating awareness to public about this Trojan.
What is bad about this Trojan named, Geinimi, uses the personal data on your mobile phone using some kind of malicious code and spreads widely via finding access to remote servers through this code. What is the good thing about this code is that can only hack into third party applications.
Some credit of being the 'first' malware identified for this Android devices, will ask you to grant more permissions to personal information than the legitimate versions of applications and passes unnecessary information like IMEI, IMSI and location information to the remote server, which, in turn was the reason for it being detected.
